Special Programs

VA Loans: For veterans of our armed services, this loan requires no down payment and no mortgage insurance. Veterans can purchase a new house with little upfront money and without the burden of mortgage insurance.

Teachers: Teachers and other employees at high priority schools may receive a maximum of $15,000 or 3% of the sales price. This is a state program through CalHFA.

Reverse Mortgages: Seniors who have enough equity in their homes may qualify for this mortgage. The loan pays you a lump sum or eliminates mortgage payments.

Lift Program: Some lenders offer up to $30,000 of down payment assistance for borrowers who qualify. Program is subject to availability of funds.
